Onward to 2013

The Last of my 2012 Creations
A Special gift...for a Special lady that is doing what I would love to do...
take care of my Grand children.
I started out crocheting the bag then making and adding the flowers, leaves and vines.
I used some left over fall outs from a project that Leann made at the frame shop for the bottom base for the bag.
Then it was off to the fabric store for the perfect piece of material to line the bag.
Off the top of my head I thought through the process.
I needed to cover the base, add the side panel then attach it at the top.

Here is the finished look inside...I was pleased.
I then made a fabric tube and ran cording through it for the pull string.
I have "5" others to line which will get done while I am recovering from knee surgery....My first projects for 2013!

Thanks to all that been following me through the year...with your thoughts, comments and encouragement to continue my Love to create.
To my friends at Sassy Cheryls...Thanks for being there.

Paper Trails...

Last month I got to go to: Stampin’ Up!® regionals…
There was a card swap of100 cards!
I made some cards although I find out that we only needing to make the fronts and add all the products used on  the back side…good idea!!

These are the two assortment of 12 that I was able to get finished for I had to work and there was no time...
One always learns the first go around.

So it is off to Seattle for the day...to learn and share with you all in "Paper Trails" group !

Well the camera did not work and sharing has not happen....although I did get inspired!!

NEW Oven...

It has been a year and 7 months since I have had a oven…
well a new one presented a challenge.
I love a challenge although this one was odd to say the least.
It was ordered to fit! The reason for cutting into the cabinet ares above was because the newer models elements are attached above. There is also a hole in the back that I had to be a carpenter for to make ends meet...taking out the shelf and cleaning.

Then it was off to wallpapering the sides and under the shelf, placing the shelf on the other side and painting.

It needs abit more trim to border the shelves then it will pass for the time being.
I used my collection of Corningware, antiques and collectables to grab some sort of look...

Coming up with a different look may need to happen for I am just not that pleased so far...
I could use ideas if you think of something...

Happy Fathers Day to all the Daddys & Grandpas
