Happy New Year!

Cheryl you caught me building a personal card for Deb at Ambiance for beautiful homes. The gals there put on fun sales during the year and one of them is during the holidays.

When you arrive it is the WOW factor for one! Being greeted you are to pick from hundreds of handmade paper hats, my hat pick at bottom! Each hat gets a ticket stapled within to which you are entered into drawings.

There are "beverages" & goodies while you shop & get in on sales. "Buy" the time you leave you have goodies in your tummy, goodies in your bag or bags and a smile on your face.

This is a all time favoriate shop while one is in Astoria, Oregon. Go check out their Ambiance Facebook of this years party & shop!!!

I used tinsel ribbon and a white glitter ribbon. Punchies are from a old punch by marvy, paper  from scraps and lots of rinestones.

Today was to start little Toots' album. I got my inspiration from Simply Scrappy Crafts Sketchy Saturday Corner group - November week 3. I embraced the layout to a 2 page spread.

The enjoyment through the construction was to look at my Toots and smile or laugh. I really wanted to add a stamped image although the right one has not come up...yet!

This last October was our 1st reunion for all the kids to gather at Mom's. We were missing just a few but they were in our hearts.

We had a lot to catch up on for it has been 30 plus years for some of us. We were all grown up which means being older and wiser! The game nerts came into play, in turn brought out lots of memories to speak off. Dinner was wonderful of course Mom had cooked all week to get ready for it. She has missed cooking for all the kids and more so having us all together again.

A yearly reunion is planed in October in hopes that all will be there. This next year the guys will cook...and plan...gals will watch the kids and wash dishes!  
It may not look like a holiday gift, but it is.  Mom, just pretend you never saw this,        Love, Toots

It’s a birthday

November 12, 2010 for...

*Paper Bagley Studio *

I have been working on the move for a week now, which consisted of some late nights, like 3am!

Well...that’s because it’s good fun to reorganize and get to know what you have and what you didn’t think you had!

There are some changes that will take place in time but for now…here it is for all to see.

If you have “?s” or have ideas to throw my way I would love to hear them.

At this time I would like to say thank-you to my hubby for his support and understanding…I am so grateful for this time in my life. It is one that most women long for…now it is my time.

I would also like to thank family & friends for giving me motive to do this. Also to Vivi, Cherish and Little Toots for giving up your room!!

Tootsie’s in her studio again…well it's after mid-nite so I think I'll depart for some shut eye  for a early morning of coffee at the Svensen Senior center...

That be it, I have to get ready for 1st inspection mid-morning so I needs to go.

 ...is hard work but somebodys got to do it!

This card has been along time awaiting! I have been working in my "New" studio and saw that Sassy Cheryl is having a challenge for "What are you working on now, Show me" so here ya go.
This card is for my friend Trisha's birthday which was last month!

I started coloring the digi by, Loralie Designs with the 33 copics that I had, not!

Ordering had to take place so it was off to 7 kids college fund. New copics, what fun is that... I was off to finish Trisha...the card. Reds, Blacks and Grays are a challenge but I got a look that I could live with.

Paper - Basic Gray, Stella Ruby  Solid is Bazzil All other materials are from old stash.

If I would have know then what I know now, as the saying goes!

I would have added more "fo fo" but less is more!  Please give your thoughts.

Hunting Grand Parents...

I created not 1 but 2 different cards with EatCake Graphics; Muttzie and the Goonerberrys for us fall hunting type. With a lot of detailing, of course, I also designed my own materials for the guys' vests. Also since my husband is bald I had to cover up the noggin with a hat...wow... and it matches...that's because I have total blog control! I love doing the "detailing" of a project and actually look forward to it.
