well a new one presented a
challenge.
I love a challenge although this one was odd to say the least.
It was ordered to fit! The reason for cutting into the cabinet ares above was because the newer models elements are attached above. There is also a hole in the back that I had to be a carpenter for to make ends meet...taking out the shelf and cleaning.
Then it was off to wallpapering the sides and under the shelf, placing the shelf on the other side and painting.
It needs abit more trim to border the shelves then it will pass for the time being.
I used my collection of Corningware, antiques and collectables to grab some sort of look...
Coming up with a different look may need to happen for I am just not that pleased so far...
I could use ideas if you think of something...
Happy Fathers Day to all the Daddys & Grandpas

Tootsie, what a project but if anyone can handle it, it is definitely you. A whole year without an oven, I can't imagine. Looks great to me.
I hope you'll have lots of fun with the new oven
Wow, over a year without an oven! You must be very creative. This looks great to me as well.
I agree. . . .what a project! Looks great! So glad that you finally have an oven. Enjoy.
